Size Matters
Determining a Ring Size
There are many ways to give a person a ring that fits perfectly. You can learn their ring size without them ever knowing it, thus keeping your gift a complete surprise! It will create a moment that will never be forgotten by either of you.
Helpful Hints for determining an accurate Ring Size:
– Call us 24 hours a day if you have questions or need help.
– Measure warm hands at room temperature. Cold fingers are smaller.
– The “dash marks” following every other number on the Ring Set indicate “1/2” sizes: “6-” = 6 ½

You will have a choice of the blue “Ring Set” or the “Multi-Sizer.”
The blue Ring Set (pictured on the left) has “1/2” and “Full” sizes marked on each plastic ring. Every ring easily pops out of the sheet for accurate feel and fit.
The Multi-Sizer works like a belt. It is marked with “1/2” and “Full” sizes marked across the length of the band and you have the ability to estimate “1/4” sizes as well. It is especially useful for people with knuckles which make it difficult to get an accurate ring size. Let us know if you would like both.
String or Ribbon Method (Can be used on a person taking a nap!)
- Take a ribbon or string or a strip of paper, about same width as the future ring, and wrap it around the finger where the ring will be worn.
- Tighten the ribbon so it is comfortable.
- Take a pen and draw a thin “line” where the string/ribbon/paper overlaps and makes a complete circle.
- When unwrapped, the single line will become two marks.
- Use the Millimeter scale (most accurate) or the Inch scale (second choice) on a ruler and measure the distance between the two marks.
- This measurement is the Circumference. Compare it to the Millimeter (MM) column on the chart below to determine the S. “Standard” Ring Size.
